-sigh- Beaten to the punch. Oh well.
Anyways, went shopping with my mom today which seemed to take FOR-EV-ER! X_X
But I managed to get a bunch of stuff for Bible School decorations. I also got some bubble mailers for auctions, some DVD cases, a frame for my fox poster (so I'll have more space for all my posters that are just laying around... and yet I'm bidding on one right now because it had free shipping... genius much?), two skin shade markers so I can work on art this weekend and a pink sharpie so I can shade Ichigo better (like I draw her so much... it helps for Larissa too, though).
They also finally had The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross volume 2 at B&N! THANK YOU! Been looking for it for months, and since they were missing two volumes from where I am in Kitchen Princess, and one for Shugo Chara!, I just decided to stick with that. It was the only one, too; I'm so happy I found it at last! I love Arina's manga~ even if the characters in GAC are just crazy and messed up. XDD We have Nuriko syndrome, a guy who hates everyone, and a girl who's a "yankee" who beats people up when she gets angry (not to mention her false teeth)... and then there's even more... yep. ::sweatdrop:: But it's very interesting. KKJ is my favorite manga of hers at the moment, though. Manga seems to be the perfect length for me to take to work, so I'm really starting to appreciate them, even though I generally like animated versions better (for the colors, voices, and music). There are exceptions, though. Ironically Arina's work comes to mind. It is much better and much deeper in manga form. The anime tends to get watered down and loaded down with filler. Like Shugo Chara!, I guess, although most of the manga content seems to be there, the filler in the anime just makes it LONGER.
