I'm not sure why but I'm totally out of it and it really does not feel like said "most wonderful time of the year". Maybe it's because all my life I've had at least a week off for Christmas? In college it was a month. This year... a single DAY. And that's it. And while hanging out with the insane number of folks related to me has been fun, I know I should be enjoying myself more than I am. There have been highs and there have been lows, and I still need to finish wrapping a few things for my mom. I'll be seeing my mom's family tonight, and my great-grandmother who is (I think) 98 now. I'm glad she made it to Christmas when she didn't believe she would, but I'm a little worried about her because she's so old and afraid that she'll have to leave us sometime in the near future. That's sad.
And tomorrow is the anniversary for Platinum Blonde... the poor neglected Ryou shrine I never update. I never got anything together for it either. Boo. I fail so majorly.
