What language are you?
Jan. 9th, 2009 10:51 pmI know this applies more to marriage than anything, but I think it can apply to family and friends too. Maybe.
The five love languages:
1. Encouraging Words - you show you care by saying nice things to people and complimenting them
2. Quality Time - you're not sure about the words but you show people you care about them by trying to be close to them as much as possible - whether it's just hanging out at home or going out on the town
3. Gifts - the only way to show you care is by making or purchasing things for the people you like - a poem, a bouquet of flowers, the shoes they've been admiring
4. Acts of Service - doing something nice to show you care: helping them with their shopping list, cooking dinner, babysitting
5. Physical Affection - self-explanatory... hugs, kisses, holding hands, an encouraging pat on the shoulder
